The payment will be funded through proceeds from newly secured credit facilities and cash on the company's balance sheet. TaskUs has obtained commitments for a comprehensive refinancing package that includes a $500 million term loan and a $100 million revolving credit facility, both maturing in March 2031.
The refinancing addresses the company's upcoming 2027 debt maturities while supporting what CEO and Co-Founder Bryce Maddock described as aggressive investment in the company's AI transformation strategy. Borrowings under the new credit facilities will carry interest at Term SOFR plus 2.75%, or an alternate base rate plus 1.75%.

Following the refinancing and special dividend payment, TaskUs expects to maintain a net leverage ratio of approximately 1.5 times Adjusted EBITDA. The company cited consistent free cash flow generation and strong financial performance as supporting factors for the capital structure optimization.
Maddock said the refinancing maintains financial flexibility while the special dividend demonstrates the company's commitment to returning value directly to shareholders. The new credit facilities will also support TaskUs's strategic initiatives as it positions itself in specialized services and AI transformation.
TaskUs provides outsourced digital services to technology companies across sectors including AI, autonomous vehicles, robotics, social media, financial services, and healthcare. The company is headquartered in New Braunfels, Texas.
