Procter & Gamble Revenue Rises 7% to $21.2B in Q3 FY2026
The consumer products giant reported $21.24 billion in revenue for the quarter ending March 31, up from $19.78 billion a year earlier. Net income climbed 4% to $3.93 billion.
Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE: PG), the consumer goods manufacturer behind Tide detergent and Gillette razors, posted revenue of $21.24 billion for the three months ending March 31, 2026, a 7% increase from $19.78 billion in the same quarter a year earlier. Read more earnings reports.
Net income for the quarter reached $3.93 billion, or $1.63 per diluted share, compared with $3.77 billion, or $1.54 per diluted share, in the prior-year period. Operating income came in at $4.58 billion, largely flat against $4.56 billion a year ago.
For the nine-month period ending March 31, the company generated $65.83 billion in revenue, up from $63.40 billion in the first nine months of fiscal 2025. Nine-month net income totaled $13.00 billion, or $5.36 per diluted share, versus $12.36 billion, or $5.03 per diluted share, in the year-ago period.
Segment Performance
The Health Care segment led quarterly revenue growth with $7.40 billion, up from $6.95 billion a year earlier. The Fabric & Home Care division posted $3.87 billion in sales, compared with $3.49 billion in Q3 2025. Beauty sales rose to $3.07 billion from $2.88 billion.
Baby, Feminine & Family Care brought in $5.06 billion, up from $4.76 billion in the prior year. Grooming revenue increased to $1.61 billion from $1.51 billion. The Corporate segment contributed $225 million versus $198 million a year earlier.
Expenses and Margins
Cost of goods sold for the quarter totaled $10.72 billion, up from $9.69 billion a year earlier. Selling, general and administrative expenses climbed to $5.94 billion from $5.52 billion in Q3 2025. The company recorded income tax expense of $1.04 billion, compared with $868 million in the same quarter last year.
Cash Position and Balance Sheet
Cash and restricted cash stood at $12.31 billion as of March 31, 2026, up from $9.56 billion at the end of fiscal 2025. Total assets increased to $128.38 billion from $125.23 billion.
Cash from operations for the nine months totaled $14.43 billion, compared with $12.83 billion in the prior-year period. The company used $8.15 billion for financing activities and $3.43 billion for investing activities during the nine-month period.
Long-term debt declined to $23.85 billion from $25.00 billion at fiscal year-end. Total liabilities edged up to $73.65 billion from $72.95 billion. Common shares outstanding decreased to 2.33 billion from 2.34 billion at June 30, 2025.
