La-Z-Boy Revenue Rises 3.8% to $541.6M in Q3 FY2026 as Net Income Falls

La-Z-Boy Incorporated posted revenue of $541.6 million for the three months ending January 24, 2026, a 3.8% increase from $521.8 million in the same quarter last year. For the nine months ending January 24, 2026, revenue totaled $1.56 billion, up 1.2% from $1.54 billion in the comparable prior-year period. Nine-month net income fell to $68.7 million from $84.6 million a year earlier.

Operating income for the third quarter dropped to $29.8 million from $35.2 million. The company's gross profit margin held steady at 43.1% in the quarter compared to 44.3% a year ago. Selling, general and administrative expenses climbed to $203.7 million from $196.2 million.

The company generated $175.7 million in cash from operations for the nine-month period, up sharply from $125.3 million in the prior year. Capital expenditures and investments consumed $137.7 million, compared to $71.2 million last year.

Diluted earnings per share came in at $0.52 for the third quarter, down from $0.68 a year earlier. For the nine months, diluted EPS stood at $1.65 versus $2.00 in the prior-year period.

Total assets reached $2.09 billion as of January 24, 2026, up from $1.92 billion at the end of fiscal 2025. Goodwill increased to $263.3 million from $205.6 million, while intangible assets rose to $77.8 million from $51.2 million. The company held $306.1 million in cash, down from $328.4 million at the prior fiscal year-end.

Stockholders' equity stood at $1.04 billion as of January 24, 2026, compared to $1.02 billion at the end of fiscal 2025. The company had 40.9 million shares outstanding at quarter-end.
