Equifax Revenue Climbs 14% to $1.65 Billion in Q1 2026

Net income for the quarter reached $171.5 million, up 29% from $133.1 million in the prior-year period. Diluted earnings per share rose to $1.42 from $1.06.

The company's Workforce Solutions segment generated $683.1 million in revenue, compared to $618.6 million in the first quarter of 2025. U.S. Markets revenue reached $605.6 million, up from $499.9 million. International revenue totaled $360.2 million, compared to $323.5 million in the year-ago quarter.

Selling, general and administrative expenses increased to $411 million from $374.9 million in the prior-year period. Depreciation and amortization rose to $183.1 million from $174.6 million.

Cash from operations for the quarter totaled $241.9 million, compared to $223.9 million a year earlier. Cash used in investing activities was $120.4 million, while financing activities consumed $117.7 million.

Total assets stood at $11.94 billion as of March 31, 2026, up from $11.86 billion at the end of 2025. Goodwill increased to $6.79 billion from $6.75 billion. Long-term debt remained relatively flat at $4.06 billion.

Stockholders' equity declined to $4.54 billion from $4.60 billion at year-end 2025. The company held $183.4 million in cash and cash equivalents at quarter-end, compared to $180.8 million three months earlier. Accounts receivable rose to $1.07 billion from $1.01 billion.

The company reported 119.3 million common shares outstanding as of March 31, 2026, down from 120.4 million at the end of December 2025. Treasury stock increased to $3.84 billion from $3.58 billion.
