Enerpac Tool Group Net Income Falls 17% to $35.4M in First Half FY2026

Enerpac Tool Group Corp., a Wisconsin-based industrial tools manufacturer, reported net income of $35.4 million for the six months ending February 28, 2026, down from $42.6 million in the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the first half of fiscal 2026 rose 2.9% to $299.0 million from $290.7 million in the prior-year period. The company's gross profit slipped to $145.0 million from $148.1 million, a decline of 2.1%.

For the second quarter alone, the company posted net income of $16.3 million on revenue of $154.8 million, versus net income of $20.9 million on revenue of $145.5 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2025. Operating income for the quarter declined to $25.0 million from $30.8 million a year earlier.

Selling, general and administrative expenses climbed to $85.1 million for the six-month period from $83.7 million in the prior year. Operating income for the half fell 13.6% to $53.5 million from $62.0 million.

The company's cash position weakened during the period, with cash and cash equivalents declining to $98.7 million as of February 28, 2026, from $151.6 million as of August 31, 2025. Cash from operations totaled $29.0 million for the six months, up from $16.1 million in the same period last year.

Total assets stood at $795.5 million as of February 28, 2026, down from $827.9 million at the end of fiscal 2025. Long-term debt declined to $177.3 million from $182.2 million over the same period.

The company reported 51.5 million shares outstanding as of February 28, 2026, down from 52.9 million shares at the end of the previous fiscal year. Inventory levels increased to $92.6 million from $78.8 million.
